This course is scheduled for 3.0 hours but could be longer depending upon questions and extended subjects.
This course is designed around the student whom currently owns a TASER but desires to understand better the lawful aspects of carrying and usage of the device. During the course of the class we will work with the student to assure that the fundamental handling and safety knowledge exist.
We will teach the student the necessary topics and techniques required by the Colorado Revised Statues in regard to the use of a less than lethal device in defense of themselves and of third parties. A live TASER fire demonstration and direct contact usage on a target will be conducted. For an additional fee of $25.00 the student may fire a TASER in the class.
The course cirriculum includes but is not limited to the following:
At the end of the course the student will receive a certificate and the course materials.

- Holstering options and carrying techniques
- Issues of Liability
- Basic situational awareness and avoidance
- Colorado Revised Statutes
- Taser Demonstration
- Federal Firearms Regulations as they apply to TASERs.
