Utah CCW Training from Tall Guns LLC Loveland, Colorado

Our Utah concealed carry license course meets and exceeds the requirements of Utah state regulations and legistation mandate. This is not an NRA course.This course is scheduled for 4.5 hours but could be longer depending upon questions and extended subjects.

This course is designed around the student whom has previous firearms handling experience. During the course of the class we will work with the student to assure that the fundamental firearms handling and safety knowledge exist.

We will teach the student the necessary topics and techniques required by Utah state mandate in order to apply for and hopefully be approved for the privilege to posess a Utah concealed weapons permit.

The course cirriculum includes but is not limited to the following:

How a pistol and revolver function
Ammunition function and identification
Holstering options
Cleaning, inspection and storage
Issues of Liability
Basic situational awareness and avoidance
Utah laws and regulations
Federal Firearms Regulations
State Reciprocity
Proficiency Test using the IES Range

At the end of the course the student will receive a certificate, Utah Application, course materials, a CD and the published booklet "Traveler's Guide to the Firearms Laws of the Fifty States". Fingerprints, photos and USPS Priority mail services are available at the class for an additional fee.
